About

Sri Mookambika Yogacure Centre was established in the year 1997 with a view to providing Yoga Treatment to the people suffering from various kinds of diseases. It retains its image as a unique institution that cures incurable chronic diseases within specified time frames by the application of yoga techniques. In contrast to general Yoga teaching, Yoga Treatment requires greater understanding of the health problems, knowledge of the various facets of Yoga, skills and capabilities to apply the right techniques at the right time to produce quick and satisfactory results.

M.A. Chandran, Yoga Specialist

Mr. Chandran

Mr. M.A. Chandran, who possesses advanced knowledge in both practical and theoretical Yoga, is a post graduate in both Sociology and in Personnel Management and as part of the Personnel Management curriculum, presented his work “Developing the Physical and Mental Health of Employees through Yoga: A Welfare Measure greatly advantageous to the organisation.”

Mr. M.A. Chandran started his basic lessons on Yoga in the year 1980. He took up Yoga with earnest and practiced devoutly to grasp the intricacies of the subject. He developed and presented his own teaching method incorporating deep relaxation, flexibility-enhancement exersises, Asanas, Pranayams and Meditation techniques, required for all-round personality development. He took daily Yoga Classes for men, women and children on an institutional basis for a period of 12 years. The class attendance on an average was 40 to 60 students daily. He utilised Sundays for taking Advanced Yoga Classes to senior students. All this gave him an opportunity to try out the ancient yogic techniques and realise the beneficial results prescribed in Yoga texts.

Mr. Chandran developed a Yoga Treatment System exclusively for the benefit of the sick and the aged who needed immediate relief from their sufferings and subsequent cure. This treatment system has proved itself to be a break through in the treatment of all diseases irrespective of the condition of the patient. This system is open ended and can take the patient through different phases of improvement effectively.
